RE: COVID-19 Case Alert

The Penns Manor Area School District has been notified by both a parent of a high school student and the Pennsylvania Department of Health that a high school student has tested positive for COVID-19. In addition, P.M.A.S.D. has been notified by a high school employee and the Pennsylvania Department of Health that the employee tested positive for COVID-19.
The Penns Manor Area School District has worked with the Pennsylvania Department of Health to identify and communicate with individuals who were in contact. Our high school student and high school employee have not been in school since Friday, December 4, 2020. We wish our student and employee a speedy recovery.
All members of our school community are encouraged to continue monitoring for the symptoms of COVID-19 and communicate any concerns with your health care professional and school nurse.
