Balloons were launched from Penns Manor Elementary at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017. The balloons quickly flew in a northeast direction and by the following afternoon, one balloon was found as far away as North Penobscot, Maine, approximately 766 miles away! Several other balloons have been reported as found in the state of New York.
